The Palace Hostel Schlossherbe is high up on my best hostel list in Vienna. It's maybe not the most central but value and service are unbeatable. Add the view and you will be just forced to book this hostel.
The excellent public transportation system will take you within 20 minutes to all the sights.
You enjoy free breakfast, internet, free parking, free lockers, free sheets and all rooms are ensuite. And you can rent bikes right from the hostel as well. So the location is even less of an issue. There is nothing better than exploring a city by bike.
